Make your business visible in AI answers.
Curious what a HelpAEO scan actually checks and how it's scored? Read how it works.
Why HelpAEO exists
I built HelpAEO after running into this problem myself.
I was using AI to compare a product I wanted to buy, a camera, and I kept getting different answers from different tools. Some recommendations made sense. Others felt questionable.
What stood out was how confident the answers sounded, even when the sources behind them were thin, outdated, or based mostly on opinion-heavy places like forums and Reddit.
That made me want to understand how AI decides what to trust.
The more I looked into it, the clearer the problem became: AI search is becoming a new discovery layer for the internet, but many businesses are not ready for it.
Your business may have a good product, real customers, strong experience, and useful information online. But if that information is scattered, inconsistent, hard to verify, or missing in the places AI systems look, you may be overlooked, misunderstood, or poorly represented.
So I built HelpAEO to help businesses fix that.
We help you understand how AI sees your business, where your visibility is weak, what sources influence the answers, and what needs to be improved so AI systems can find, understand, and describe you more accurately.
This is not about tricking AI or chasing shortcuts. It is about making your business clear, credible, and ready for the way people are using the internet.
Because people are no longer only browsing pages of links. They are asking AI for recommendations, comparisons, summaries, and decisions.
And businesses need to be ready for that.

The letter above is personal; this part is mechanical.
What the audit actually measures
A scan runs 45 individual checks across 5 categories — access, machine readability, content extractability, entity trust, and agent actionability. Of those, 38 have one plain, mechanical right answer (is there a canonical tag, does the page redirect to HTTPS) and run on every scan, free or paid. The other 7 need judgement rather than a fixed rule — whether an About page reads as real authority, whether a homepage states clearly what a visitor can do next — so a model reads the page and judges those against a rubric, and they only run on a paid scan. /checks lists every one of them individually, in plain language.
How we score, and what we don't claim
Each check's labelled impact — high, medium, or low — is our own editorial estimate of how much it tends to matter, not a measured weight: it never feeds the score itself, which only ever counts how many checks passed. Every result in a report comes with the actual evidence behind it, not just a pass or fail label, so you can verify a finding yourself instead of taking our word for it. Read how it works for the full walkthrough of how a scan runs and how a score is put together.
We hold our own site to the same standard
We run this exact scanner against our own site, helpaeo.com, and publish what it finds rather than quietly excluding ourselves. When helpaeo.com fails one of its own checks, we fix the site — we don't remove the check.
